The Rise of the Mompreneur: Redefining the Modern Woman
If you know anything about Motherhood while keeping a Business running, you understand how feeling of guilt quietly creeps in. There are moments you can’t pause the business processes - when deadline call, projects depend on your focus, and your creative energy is stretched thin. And yet, your heart longs to be home with your children, who seem to grow faster than time allows. Motherhood reshapes priorities, redefines time, and rekindles purpose. As for many women entrepreneurs, this invisible tension we live with - the wish to hold it all together, for the family’s health, the household’s rhythm and the business heartbeat. Its a delicate balance between devotion and ambition, and sometimes it feels like the world wasn’t built for this kind of strength.
“As a mother, you will never have time to grow big “
When i began my journey as a jewellery designer and entrepreneur, i stepped into a world that was both dazzling and intimidating. Building a jewellery brand from scratch - no roadmap, holding hands in stress situations, only running on passion, curiosity, and persistence. My entry into the jewelry world came through a mentor, an expert whose knowledge i admired deeply. In my vulnerable search of myself, i absorbed every word and every piece of advice.
But then came the hard truth - the kind that shakes your existence as designer. He said
“As a mother, you will never have time to grow big. Your life around your children is bigger than you. Success belongs to those who can give everything - all their time amd their focus to mastering the craft.“
These words unsettled the very core of my being — the tension between creating the work of my dreams and staying present as a mother. I’ve crossed languages, cultures, and expectations, constantly reinventing myself as a woman and a creator. Yet, the world’s unspoken dogmas about what a woman should be, filled me with both rage and confusion — like fire meeting wind, impossible to contain or to explain.
“The Art of Creating and Recreating Yourself”
It fueled me to work relentlessly — two years of constant motion, designing between feeding kids, sketching between school runs, showcasing the distinct character of my creations, and connecting with others who shared the same fire.
Above all, in the life of a creative entrepreneur and mother, every spare moment feels like a choice that carries weight. Should I take these few minutes to breathe, or dive back into research, design, and client work? The balance between productivity and peace is never simple — it’s a quiet, daily negotiation.
For generations, women have been taught that their purpose ends with nurturing others — that their world must revolve around home, care, and sacrifice. Meanwhile, in the professional sphere, we often find ourselves competing in spaces built without us in mind, where men move more freely, unburdened by the same expectations.
At Binadi Studio, this truth became both the challenge and the catalyst — to redefine what it means to create, to mother, and to build something meaningful without apology.
Because i am a Mother - that makes me limitless
Motherhood taught me endurance, empathy, the power of persistence and reminded me that creation takes many forms - from giving life to shaping beauty with your hands.
Through my jewellery design, i want to challenge the old paradigms that tell women they must choose between career and care, passion and family. Each piece i design carries a simple truth - a women’s strength is infinite. her creativity boundless, her love and ambitions capable of coexisting in harmony.
Binadi Studio is more than a jewelry brand; it’s a reflection of the modern woman’s journey — a space where artistry meets resilience, where motherhood and entrepreneurship are not opposites but extensions of the same creative spirit.
